Pet Portrait FAQs

How do I order a portrait?

Decide which style if most suited to you and your pet. Click on the order button (or the Purchase tab), fill out the form, and we will be in touch in regards to reference photos and payment. Portraits are started once payment is received.

What type of payment do you accept?

Online e-transfer is the best option as both of us have a record of the payment. We also accept paypal as this offers a record of payment as well. All prices are in Canadian dollars (HST is charged on top of listed pricing).

What type of reference photo should I send?

The best photos are high resolution, clear, well lit JPEG’s. Most phones these days will provide just this type of photo. It is always best to send a few different photos for colour reference. The best poses are 3/4 views, but face on works as well.

What do you provide for the cost?

What you get is a high resolution, super awesome portrait of your pet, either caricature or realistic style. We send you the high resolution file so that you can print the portrait at a printer of your choice, saving you shipping costs, time, damages that can occur during shipping and any other fees associated with shipping.

We do however, for a separate fee, offer prints to heavy photo paper stock or canvas that can be picked up or delivered within the Halton/Peel region.

Can I add items to the portrait or other pets?

Within reason, we are happy to add items, such as a pets favorite toy, to a portrait. For an extra fee, we can add another pet to the portrait (cost depends on the portrait size/style).

How long does it take to create a portrait?

Typical portrait times are between 2-4 weeks for completion, with the caricature and blended portraits being completed quicker then realistic portraits.
